Some very clever people have done some digging and discovered all sorts of information about the behind-the-cyber-scenes of the puzzle.

Nothing directly links Credit Dauphine directly to ABC, but it obviously is a part of their site as they have direct links to it in the form of e-mail addresses.
Also, an email listed on the rambaldi posting board, LichtUndBlindheit@thetruewheel.com, translates to "light and blindness" on the altavista translation engine (some play off day and night).

I was watching Felicity last night (YES, I ADMIT IT), and Noel Crane got his first website design job from an "Eric Scott". For those of you who don't know J.J. Abrams is the creator for both Felicty and Alias. Also, Eric Scott (of day for night!) designed www.noelcrane.com.

worry too much about those directories. Just FYI.

As far as the 773 number goes, the voicemailbox's dial by name feature appears part of a business sounding somewhat like Shyco Inc Northwest. Someone might want to look up similar companies to see if it's game related or if we are off "the course" on this approach.
Doing this dial by name pattern: 21 32 43 54 65 76 87 98 89
78 67 56 45 34 23 12
you sometimes get same the mailbox with a different number paired
combo.
Results from doing those numbers(more than one numbered pair set may get the same box):
4 3 heather shyco inc
5 4 jim
6 5 will
8 7 vince
9 8 dana with shyco northwest
4 5 susane for shyco
However, so far the mailbox number for the morse code box itself hasn't been found. Also inputting the numbers from the computer voice to the dial-by-name feature hasn't been done yet: 13 15 28 5 18 <-- the 5 isn't in a pair, so perhaps this isn't relevant. But again might have to see if it may have something to it.

i did a reverse lookup on the number. it either is an unlisted number, or it's not in service. http://www.numberfinder.com/

EW Gets the Stories Behind Those Goofy
TV Production-Company Logos
True TV Buffs realize that no episode was complete until those immortal words "Sit, Ubu, sit. Good dog" were uttered. Producers have always used creative production-company logos to spice up those boring end credits. And here are four of this season's finest final chapters. - Nicholas Fonseca (additional reporting by Jeff Jensen)
ALIAS (ABC)
COMPANY
Bad RobotIMAGE
Against a stormy backdrop. a boy runs by, a rickety robot glides on screen, and two kids' voices cry "Baaad robot!"MEANING
The title came to creator J.J. Abrams during a writers' meeting, and he recorded his children, Henry and Gracie (ages 2 and 3), saying the words into his Powerbook's microphone. "That day in the office while editing," says Abrams, "I put together sound effects on my computer, burned a QuickTime movie on a CD, gave it to postproduction, and three days later it was on national television."
Just to recap, and it is old news, but might be worth noting
and classifying in a post/thread... It appears that almost(if
not
every) majorly important in-game webpage is a version from
an original or group of original pages.
http://Find-whatever.com is a mock http://Altavista.com,
http://Creditdauphine.com is very much like Societe Generale
with employee connections to a Dauphine University in Paris
(numerous pages like: http://sg-defirecruit.com ),
http://Geocities.com/Rulerfrog is a http://DrudgeReport.com,
the http://FollowersofRambaldi.org content is an
amalgamation of content from various secret society
webpages...(as mentioned in the FAQ and in the posts)
For instance, a friend of mine happened to find this page, as
I
would assume others did too:
http://oneworldorder.org/About.htm
The Illuminati Order was formed 300 years ago by a group
of individuals... etc (read the page to see very similar-if
not
copied and pasted and altered- content).
At the bottom it says:
NOTE: If you have questions such as "Why should I join,
what will I get out of it?" DO NOT JOIN us. Those types of
persons are NOT welcome.
versus
http://followersoframbaldi.org/followers.html
The Followers Of Rambaldi is a private Order formed 300
years ago by a group of individuals...etc.
The Puzzle FAQ also has a copy of the old Join Us content
which stated:
"NOTE: If you have questions such as "Why should I join,
what will I get out of it?" DO NOT JOIN us. Those types of
persons are NOTwelcome. "
And not to mention, Project Haze was basically altered
MKULTRA Project documents.
comments:
As you may see, the pages do not seem to be original in style
or content but derivatives for the purpose of the game.
Perhaps the game will continue to follow this sort of mirrored
style? Perhaps there are even more similarities in the puzzle
than we are currently aware of. Very eclectic, but not as
original as one might immediately believe.
With many elements in common, Alias as a whole appears to
be a sort of false front, arguably and questionably bordering
plagiarism in various areas (La Femme Nikita?). However it
is still depthly intriguing and potentially more complex than
most -if not all- new shows currently airing.
Some additional seaching lead me to this address (www.thewatcherz.com) which is hosted by Yahoo. The domain is registered to jesse alexander who is a supervising producer for Alias. Interestingly, the registration address is in Studio City, which is the first one I've seen that doesn't link directly back to Eric Scott and dayfornight. The admin e-mail is listed as rulerfrog@thewatcherz.com I tried to ftp at this address and got nothing. Maybe someone else will have better luck.
